Property Wealth Advice Limited was established to solely concentrate on the specialist area of Equity Release, working directly with clients as well as with introducers such as solicitors, estate planners, mortgage brokers and wealth advisers to give a ‘gold standard’ of advice to clients in this increasingly popular and critical area of financial planning.

Our Experience

The company’s principal is Ian Noble, who is based in Swindon, Wiltshire, and holds Certificates from the Chartered Insurance Institute in the provision of specialist advice on Mortgages, Protection and Equity Release.

Ian has worked in the financial services industry since 1980, including senior roles with Lincoln Financial Group, Sun Life of Canada and LV=, where he was head of LV=’s Retirement Solutions business. We support clients all over the UK, although the majority of our work is focused on helping homeowners who live along the Thames corridor (Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey), as well as in Bristol, London and the South East of England.

In addition, all our clients benefit from the reassurance that The Right Mortgage are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and are full members of the Equity Release Council, as well as being protected through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s statutory deposit insurance and investors compensation scheme for customers of authorised financial services firms.

The Equity Release Council is the industry body for the UK equity release sector; representing the equity release providers, qualified financial advisers, solicitors and intermediaries.

It is a consumer-centric trade body focused on key themes of representative lobbying, leading and setting high standards for consumers, and awareness “thought leadership” of how housing wealth can help address many of today’s financial challenges.

Over the course of almost 30 years, the Equity Release Council continues to represent the equity release sector and exists to promote high standards of conduct and practice in the provision of and advice on equity release which have consumer safeguards at its heart.

These standards and safeguards have allowed the sector to grow, giving financial advisers and their customers confidence in the products, dispelling myths about equity release, and educating the public about the potential to access the wealth in their home for a variety of uses.

The reputation and standing of the brand and the trust developed has seen its membership grow, bringing the sector together and helping it strengthen its voice: providers of equity release plans, solicitors, intermediaries, financial advisers, consultants, surveyors and other industry professionals – all committed to the principles of membership.

The Council builds on this unified voice of its members, while remaining independent from the specific views of individual member firms or particular segments of the equity release market.

Whilst we have clients nationwide, we mainly focus on helping people based along the Thames corridor, in London and the South East, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and North Gloucestershire.
